Viral Video Shows A Huge Bear Trying To Break Into US Woman's Home

The huge bear was found walking around Amy Holt's house in North Bend, possibly hungry, on a security camera.

A scary video shows the bear attempting to break into a Washington home through a doggie door belonging to Amy Holt.

Holt expressed her concern about waking up in bed with the bear next to her, stating, "The video is completely entertaining, but also makes me a little worried." The video, shared on Facebook, depicts the bear climbing onto the porch fencing, standing on its hind legs, and sniffing around before attempting to look through a window. It then paws at the door in an attempt to enter, eventually walking away into the darkness, defeated. Holt captioned the video,

"The bear is back, but tonight he's trying to break into the house." She mentioned that the bear pushed on the window and spent some time trying to figure out the doggie door. Despite efforts to scare it away, Holt remarked, "We keep yelling at him and making noise, but it doesn't seem to faze him much." She added, "My bad that I hadn't brought the hummingbird feeder in yet."

In a similar incident last year, a New Jersey couple had a scary encounter with a bear, which was attempting to break into their house after chasing their dogs. Joseph Damiani recalled how he was barely dressed when he heard his dogs barking outside his home in Annandale on May 15.

A frightening video shows Joseph, dressed in a white shirt and black underpants, standing and trying to figure out why his pooches were making a commotion at night.

The dogs can then be seen hurriedly entering the house, with a young black bear in pursuit. Joseph's terrified girlfriend screams as the bear rams its head against the door. The house is attempted to be broken into by the bear, pushing to gain entry, but Joseph exits the porch and swiftly saves himself. Eventually, the bear gives up and walks away.
