Video: Surrounded by 14 lions, baby elephant still survives
Lusaka, Nov 14: A baby elephant was all surrounded by 14 lions but yet it showed a tremendous courage to survive the attack. The incident happened in Zambia's South Luangwa National Park.
The three-minute video has gone viral.
The video shows a pack of lions attacking the baby elephant, which got separated from its herd, from all sides. The lions pounced on it and tried to pierce their sharp claws and teeth into the animal.
But the elephant did not give up and kept on fighting the predators.
As it entered the nearby waterbody nearby, the lions stopped at the banks and soon it retaliated at the lions.
At the end, it was seen that the elephant chased one of the lionesses off.
