VHP Demands Retraction, Apology from Western Media Over Ayodhya Coverage
Vishva Hindu Parishad chapters in the US, Canada, and Australia denounce western media outlets for biased reporting on the Ram Mandir consecration in Ayodhya, demanding immediate retraction and public apology.
The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) chapters in the United States, Canada, and Australia have strongly condemned the biased coverage of events related to the consecration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya by certain western media outlets. They have demanded immediate retractions and public apologies for the dissemination of false information that has caused distress to the Hindu community.

VHP America Demands Retraction and Apology
VHP America issued a statement expressing deep disappointment with the biased and selective reporting by major media platforms such as ABC, BBC, CNN, MSNBC, and Al Jazeera. Despite the unity and joy experienced by Hindus globally, these outlets engaged in irresponsible journalism by publishing articles containing false accusations against the Hindu community.
VHP America called for an immediate retraction of the news articles and a public apology to the Hindu community for the distress caused by the spread of false information. They emphasized the importance of including all relevant facts, such as the historical context and the legal ruling by the Indian Supreme Court supporting the construction of the Ram Mandir.
Concerns Over Anti-Hindu Sentiments
VHP Canada expressed concerns about the misleading and factually incorrect journalism that threatens to fuel growing Hinduphobia in the country. They highlighted the peace-loving, progressive, and inclusive nature of the Hindu community, which believes in the values of "Vasudhaiv Kutumbukam" (the world is one family).
VHP Canada urged the media to exercise diligence in verifying information and refrain from perpetuating misleading narratives. They called for immediate correction of inaccuracies in recent articles, emphasizing the importance of accurate and unbiased reporting to foster a well-informed society.
VHP Australia Condemns Biased Reporting
VHP Australia joined in condemning the biased reporting by ABC, SBS, and 9News. They questioned the sourcing of biased opinions and incorrect facts from individuals known for their anti-Hindu sentiments. They demanded the immediate removal of news articles and an apology to the Hindu community, followed by the inclusion of all facts and statements from supporters of the temple construction.
VHP Australia warned that such false narratives promote anti-social Hindu phobic extremism against the peace-loving Hindu Australian community, disrupting peace and social harmony. They called on the government and Australian Press Council to take strong action to prevent false reports and ensure more diverse sources for reporting on India and Hindus.
The Vishva Hindu Parishad chapters in the United States, Canada, and Australia have raised their voices against the biased coverage of Ram Mandir consecration by certain western media outlets. They have demanded retractions, apologies, and the inclusion of accurate information to counter the spread of false narratives that jeopardize the peace-loving Hindu communities in their respective countries.
