Vanshika Saini, Daughter Of AAP Leader Davinder Saini, Found Dead In Canada Days After Disappearance

An Indian student who had been missing in Ottawa, Canada, since April 25 has been found dead under mysterious circumstances.

The student has been identified as a 21-year-old Vanshika Saini. According to The Times of India, she was the daughter of Aam Aadmi Party leader Davinder Saini.

Reports said that Vanshika had left her house around 9 pm on April 25 to search for a room to rent. However, she never returned. After she went missing, her phone was found to be switched off. She also did not appear for an important exam the next day, raising concerns among her friends and family.

As investigations began, it was found that Vanshika, who usually stayed in regular contact with her loved ones, had become completely unreachable.

According to The Times of India, her body was later discovered near a beach. The search for her had started after her friends went to check on her when she missed her exam. On realising she was missing, they alerted the local authorities.

Sources told the newspaper that Vanshika had moved to Canada after completing her schooling in India to pursue higher education.

Meanwhile, the High Commission of India in Ottawa said that the matter is being investigated by the local police. The High Commission also confirmed that they are in contact with Vanshika's family and are providing them with all possible support.

Authorities have not yet shared further details about the cause of her death, and investigations are ongoing.
