US: One killed in shooting incident at college
Washington, Sept 4: At least one person was killed and two others injured in a shooting incident took place at a college in US, media reported on Friday.
The shooting took place near a baseball field at the Sacramento City College in California on Thursday, Fox News reported.
The shooting happened after a verbal dispute between a group of men, one of whom pulled out a gun and fired.
Gun violence in the United States results in thousands of deaths and thousands more injuries annually.
The past week saw two TV reporters shot dead live on-air, a university student in Georgia shot and killed, and a police officer in Texas shot from behind, in addition to the many less-publicised shootings in US cities that occur every day.
