US Navy Had Detected Implosion of Titan Submersible Shortly After Disappearance
The US Navy has confirmed that it detected the likely implosion of the Titan submersible shortly after it disappeared in the Atlantic Ocean on Sunday. The implosion was recorded by a secret acoustic monitoring system designed to detect submarines, according to the Wall Street Journal's report.
An unnamed senior US Navy official, cited by the Journal, revealed that the implosion was recorded soon after the Titan went missing on Sunday. The data was captured by a covert acoustic monitoring system specifically designed to detect submarines.

"The US Navy conducted a thorough analysis of the acoustic data and identified an abnormality consistent with an implosion or explosion in the general vicinity where the Titan submersible was operating when communication was lost," the official informed the Journal.
On Thursday, the US Coast Guard announced the discovery of the submersible wreckage near the site where the Titanic rests, approximately 3,800 meters (12,400 feet) beneath the ocean's surface.
This disclosure marks the conclusion of a multinational search-and-rescue mission that lasted four days. Officials informed reporters that the analysis of debris found on the seabed aligns with the hypothesis of a pressure chamber implosion.
Tragically, all five occupants of the submersible, as confirmed by OceanGate Expeditions, the operator of the Titan, are presumed to have lost their lives.
