US Elections: Internet Roasts Trump For 'Whining' And 'Golfing' All Day, Complaining About Harris' Bid
Donald Trump's campaign team is growing increasingly anxious as the former president spends more time on the golf course and less time actively campaigning.
Insiders report that ever since the Democrats replaced Biden with Kamala Harris as their presidential candidate, Trump has been distracted and less focused on the campaign.

His aides are now concerned that his obsession with golf and frequent complaints are sapping the campaign's momentum, leading to fears that the election could be slipping away.
Following the Democratic National Convention (DNC), where Trump's hyperactivity on social media turned him into a public spectacle, his team had to work hard to convince him to get back on the campaign trail instead of spending his days "grumbling" on the golf course, as reported by The Washington Post.
The DNC, which lasted four days, made a more significant impact online than the Republican National Convention (RNC), a reality Trump has found difficult to accept as he falls behind in the polls.
Kamala Harris's acceptance speech at the DNC drew 26.2 million viewers, compared to the 25.3 million who watched Trump, according to Nielsen.
Since then, anonymous sources have told The Washington Post that Trump has been maintaining a more relaxed schedule at his Bedminster estate, often spending time on the golf course.
Former aides are concerned that having Trump stay at home, stewing over the Democratic convention, could be counterproductive. The publication reports that it's been a challenging period for Trump's team, as they struggle to adjust their narrative against Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz.
According to the Post's Isaac Arnsdorf, Josh Dawsey, and Marianne LeVine, "Trump also had grown annoyed with the news coverage that depicted him as not working as hard as his opponent, one person who talked to him said."
Trump's concerns are mounting. When he first entered the race, he was preparing to face an older incumbent, President Biden, who often struggled with public speaking.
Now, however, he faces a dynamic and younger competitor with little negative history. Once dismissing Harris as a mere afterthought, Trump now finds himself trailing behind her, with national polls as of August 25 showing Harris leading with 49%, while Trump lags by 3%, despite his lead earlier in August.
Harris is even leading in battleground states, with independent reports indicating Trump is struggling to maintain his grip in key states like Michigan and Pennsylvania.
On social media, reactions have been sharp. "Looks like he's not even trying now," one person commented on Trump's apparent golf obsession. "Yeah, there really is no reason to vote. People don't like Trump. Kamala will definitely win," wrote another.
"Yep, it's getting worse-the frequency of those moments when he seems to think he's still the president and should be golfing."
Trump faced further mockery on Thursday when Fox News cut him off after he spent ten minutes ranting about Kamala Harris. He then called himself a "rating machine," insisting that news channels contact him rather than the other way around.
Online, some have suggested he's just "grumbling about Harris all day instead of focusing on his campaign."
"He's got RFK and Elon working for him," one commenter joked on X. Another quipped, "Trump can do less damage on the golf course than in the White House." "Maybe those same aides should stop telling him he's winning by a large margin?" wondered another, while someone else added, "Maybe he should just stop whining."
Alyssa Farah Griffin, a former Trump spokesperson, echoed these concerns, saying, "From spending days off the campaign trail golfing to coming up with frankly weak nicknames like 'Kamabala,' it feels like he's lost his mojo."
