US Elections 2024 CNN Exit Poll Predictions: The latest CNN exit poll reveals stark differences in the level of confidence regarding election fairness between supporters of Vice President Kamala Harris and those backing former President Donald Trump.

According to the initial results, two-thirds of voters are at least somewhat confident that this year's election is being conducted fairly and accurately, but this confidence varies greatly across political lines.

An overwhelming 90% of voters supporting Harris expressed confidence in the election's fairness, while only about half of Trump's supporters shared the same sentiment. This gap highlights the polarized views on the integrity of the electoral process in the United States, a divide that has deepened in recent years.

Concerns about the state of democracy also loom large in voters' minds. Roughly 75% of those polled believe that democracy is under threat, with nearly 40% of them feeling that democracy is "very threatened." In contrast, only a small fraction of voters, about 25%, consider democracy secure. This widespread apprehension underscores the political climate's intensity and the deep concerns many Americans have about the future of their democratic institutions.

Election-related violence is another significant concern. Approximately 70% of voters expressed worries about potential violence stemming from the election. This reflects the growing anxiety about unrest, especially in the context of a highly polarized political environment.

The exit polls, conducted by Edison Research on behalf of the National Election Pool, were based on a combination of interviews with both Election Day voters and those who voted early or absentee. The results, which encompass a sample of 16,604 respondents, offer a snapshot of the nation's political divide, although they will continue to be adjusted to align with final election results. Despite this, exit polls provide valuable insights into the public's concerns, attitudes, and demographic profile as they cast their ballots.
