US Confirms No Damage at Al Udeid Base in Qatar After Iran Missile Strike
The United States has confirmed that Iran's missile attack on the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar caused no damage or casualties, according to a Reuters report citing a US military official. The official added that no other US military bases were targeted or struck, despite heightened regional tensions.

While air defense systems were activated at the Ain al-Asad airbase in Iraq as a precautionary measure, there was no confirmed Iranian strike on the installation, Reuters reported, quoting military sources.
Iran Notified US in Advance via Diplomatic Channels
A senior regional source told Reuters that Iran had informed the United States through two diplomatic channels before launching the missiles at the Qatar base. The pre-warning is seen as a potential signal that Iran aimed to limit escalation and avoid casualties.
Two US officials confirmed that no American personnel were injured during the missile strike, which involved short- and medium-range ballistic missiles.
Trump Responds to Strike
In a post on Truth Social, former US President Donald Trump asserted that the US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities were "totally destroyed."
"Only the Fake News would say anything different in order to try and demean, as much as possible - And even they say they were 'pretty well destroyed!'" Trump wrote.
His comments came hours after Iran launched its retaliatory missile attacks, which marked a serious development in the growing conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.
Current Status and Military Alertness
Although Al Udeid remains operational and unharmed, the situation in the Gulf remains tense. Military forces across the region are reportedly on high alert amid concerns of further retaliatory strikes or indirect escalations.
The Al Udeid Air Base, located west of Doha, is the largest US military outpost in the Middle East, hosting 8,000 to 10,000 US personnel and playing a central role in regional military operations.
