US: At least 15 reported dead in Umpqua Community College shooting; shooter neutralised
Los Angeles, Oct 2: At least 15 people were reported killed and more than 20 wounded today in a shooting at a community college in the US state of Oregon, according to CNN.
Local police confirmed to AFP that shots were fired at Umpqua Community College but had no immediate information on casualties.

"We responded to a report of a shooting at the local community college and it's a developing situation," Officer Dwes Hutson, of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, said.
CNN, citing a county official, said the shooter had been detained. It said at least one woman was shot in the chest.
The college was immediately placed on lockdown.
