• Logistics support
• Technical services related to the weapons

US officials said the equipment is intended to strengthen Israel's defence capabilities during the ongoing regional conflict.

Emergency Authority Used to Approve the Sale

To speed up the process, the US government used emergency powers under the Arms Export Control Act to skip the normal congressional review.

The US Secretary of State stated that the situation required immediate action.
In the official statement, the department explained that an emergency situation existed that required the immediate approval of the arms transfer to Israel.
