US Ambassador to Pakistan to visit India
Washington, Apr 6: US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson will visit India today during which he will meet top officials there and hold discussions on a range of key issues including India's role in promoting a more stable and prosperous region.
During his two-day staying in New Delhi, the Special US Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, will discuss on promotion of an Afghan-led, Afghan-owned peace and reconciliation process, the State Department said.

"The visit is also an opportunity for US officials to express appreciation for India's support for the people and government of Afghanistan, including trade ties, security and development assistance, as well as India's key role in promoting a more stable and prosperous region," the State Department said.
