United Nations condemns attack on British embassy vehicle
United Nations, Nov 28: The UN Security Council (UNSC) has condemned the attack on a British embassy vehicle in Kabul, Afghanistan.
"The members of the UNSC expressed their deep sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims, and to the people and government of Afghanistan and the people and government of Britain," Xinhua cited from a press statement on Thursday.

One British citizen and four Afghan bystanders were killed and 33 others injured when a suicide car bombing hit a British embassy's armoured vehicle on Thursday.
The Taliban insurgent group fighting the government claimed the responsibility for the attack.
"The members of the UNSC reiterated that no terrorist act can reverse the path towards Afghan-led peace, democracy and stability in Afghanistan which is supported by the people and the government of Afghanistan and by the international community," the statement added.
