UN chief urges Myanmar to end military operations against Rohingya
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres on Wednesday urged Myanmar to end military operations against Rohingya.
In his first press conference since the opening of the 72nd General Assembly Session, the Secretary-General said Humanitarian situation in Myanmar is catastrophic.
He said,''I urge all countries to do what they can to provide assistance. Muslims of Rakhine State must be granted nationality or, at least for now, a legal status so they can lead a normal life .''
