UK PM Starmer Embraces Zelensky At 10 Downing Street After Latter's Spat With Trump At White House | WATCH
A warm embrace outside 10 Downing Street marked British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday, just a day after the Ukrainian President's tense exchange with US President Donald Trump at the White House.
As Zelensky arrived, supporters applauded, while Starmer greeted him with a hug before they stepped inside.

"And as you heard from the cheers on the street outside, you have full backing across the United Kingdom," Starmer assured the leader of the war-ravaged nation.
Action, not just words.

His visit followed a strained encounter in the Oval Office, where Trump and US Vice President JD Vance publicly criticised him on live television for not demonstrating sufficient appreciation for American aid.
Zelensky had been set to sign an agreement granting the United States access to Ukraine's mineral resources, as Trump urged a negotiated resolution to the conflict with Russia. However, he left the White House without finalising any deal.
My support for Ukraine is unwavering.

He had originally been scheduled to meet Starmer on Sunday ahead of a summit with European leaders on Ukraine and continental defence, but the meeting appeared to have been brought forward following his trip to Washington.
Prior to the summit at Lancaster House, a 200-year-old mansion near Buckingham Palace, Zelensky is due to meet King Charles III on Sunday.
Following the heated exchange between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump at the White House, European leaders reaffirmed their support for Ukraine.
The leaders of Germany, France, Spain, Poland, and the Netherlands took to social media to share their messages of solidarity, with Zelensky personally thanking each of them.
Germany's outgoing Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated, "No one wants peace more than the citizens of Ukraine." His successor-in-waiting, Friedrich Merz, added, "We stand with Ukraine" and "We must never confuse aggressor and victim in this terrible war."
