if
he/she
is
unable
to
reach
the
polling
booth
because
of

medical
emergency
or
prior
work.

18

vote
can
be
assigned
the
task.

case
of
disability
In case one has a disability, he or she can ask the presiding officer to mark the ballot paper for him or her. A relative or one eligible to vote can also help the voter. In case of a mistake
If
a
voter
makes
a
mistake
in
the
voting
paper,
he
or
she
can
ask
for
a
replacement
paper
as
long
as
it
hasn't
been
placed
in
the
vote
box.
No
photo
ID
required
except
Northern
Ireland
A voter need not carry a polling card to vote unless he or she is in Northern Ireland where a photo ID is required for casting the ballot.
