UFO Alert: Mysterious 'Flying Cylinder' Caught On Camera Over New York City Baffles Experts

A mysterious 'flying cylinder' spotted over New York has sparked ispeculation, with many wondering if it could be a UFO.

The sighting, captured by a passenger on a commercial flight, prompted federal aviation officials to launch an investigation.

According to reports, the object was seen at around 2,500 feet near LaGuardia airport, ruling out conventional aircraft or drones. The witness, Michelle Reyes, reported the sighting to the FAA but has not received a response. Another passenger on the flight also saw the object, adding to the intrigue.

Thomas Wertman, from the Mutual UFO Network, analysed the footage and ruled out common explanations, such as drones or military aircraft.

While Wertman finds the object's shape and altitude intriguing, he notes that without additional data, it's challenging to identify. The Pentagon has reiterated that most UFO sightings are misidentifications of known objects or phenomena.
