UAE To Provide Visa-On-Arrival For Indian Travellers, But With A Caveat
In a development for Indian travellers, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has introduced a new visa-on-arrival scheme, making entry easier for those holding valid permanent resident cards or visas from the United States, United Kingdom, or any European Union country.
Under this policy, eligible Indian nationals will be granted a 14-day visa-on-arrival upon entering the UAE.

This move comes as part of the deepening ties between India and the UAE, home to over 35 lakh Indians.
The change is seen as an effort to boost travel and business opportunities between the two nations.
The new visa-on-arrival criteria are as follows:
- A valid visa, residence permit, or green card issued by the United States.
- A valid visa or residence permit issued by any EU country or the United Kingdom.
- A passport with at least six months' validity.
Travellers who meet these conditions will be granted a 14-day visa on arrival, with the option to extend for an additional 60 days by paying the necessary fees.
This simplified process aims to make travel to the UAE more convenient for Indian citizens, further cementing the UAE's position as a key destination for Indian tourists, businesspeople, and expatriates.
