Washington: Two shot in a movie theatre, one suspect in custody

, Jan 14: Two people were shot at a movie theatre in the US state of Florida on Monday afternoon, and a suspect is in custody, media reported.

The shooting took place inside a movie theatre in Wesley Chapel, Pasco County, Xinhua reported citing local WTSP-TV.

The Pasco county sheriff's office said that both victims were airlifted to a Tampa Bay-area hospital. Their conditions were not immediately known, according to WTSP-TV.

The suspected shooter has been taken into custody, the report quoted police sources as saying.

This comes to light after many shooting incidents that took place in US in the past. The US government had ordered to keep a check on the sale of guns as the incidents of shooting went up last year.
