Twitter set to introduce new filters to check harassment
Twitter may consider limiting access to accounts that engage in activities likely to signal abuse.
Twitter is set to introduce new optional filters to check harassment on the microblogging site, said reports. These filters would prevent a user from being notified when certain accounts tweet at them.

The Twitter would also provide user the option to choose keywords and muting them for specific amounts of time.
Reports quoted the company as saying that if an account continues to repeatedly violate the Twitter rules, then it would take further action.
Twitter may consider limiting access to accounts that engage in activities likely to signal abuse. It would also try to provide more information to people who do report harassment on the platform.
