President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Condemns Terrorist Attack At Turkish Aerospace Industries; 4 Dead
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has denounced a "heinous terrorist attack" on a major Turkish defence firm's headquarters near Ankara. The assault resulted in four fatalities and 14 injuries. Erdogan made these remarks while in Kazan, Russia, during discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya reported that among the injured, three individuals are critically wounded. He also mentioned that two attackers, identified as a woman and a man, have been neutralised. Efforts are ongoing to confirm their identities, but it remains unclear if other assailants are involved.

The tragic event unfolded at the state-run Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) in Kahramankazan, approximately 40 kilometres north of Ankara. Local media aired footage showing thick smoke and a significant fire at the site. The attack coincided with Erdogan's meeting with Putin in Kazan.
During his talks with Putin, Erdogan confirmed the casualties and reiterated his condemnation of the attack. The Russian leader extended his condolences regarding the incident.
