A day after Orlando shooting, Trump, Hillary cross swords
Washington, June 13: Republican and Democrat presumptive presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton crossed swords over the Orlando mass shooting on Monday (June 13). ['Orlando massacre maximised Trump's chances']
While Trump said his opponent was too weak to safeguard the US, Clinton said the former's demonisation of Muslims was inciting terrorists.

The clash between the two presidential candidates occurred in the wake of the worst attack on the American soil since 9/11. A Muslim man claiming allegiance to the Islamic States, opened fire in a gay nightclub in Orlando, killing 49 while injuring 53.
While President Barack Obama called the incident an "act of terror", Trump sought the former's resignation.
