Trump Faces New Allegations of Groping a Woman in 1993 with Jeffrey Epstein Present

Stacey Williams has accused former President Donald Trump of groping her at Trump Tower in early 1993, with Jeffrey Epstein present. Williams, a former model, made this claim during a video chat supporting Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign. This allegation adds to a long list of accusations against Trump, including those by E. Jean Carroll, who won a legal case against him for sexual assault and defamation.

Trump Accused of Groping in 1993

Williams recounted meeting Epstein in 1992 and described an incident in 1993 when they visited Trump Tower. She alleged that Trump greeted them and then groped her, leaving her confused and frozen. "He put his hands all over my breasts, my waist, my butt," she said. Williams felt there was a "sick bet or game" between Trump and Epstein.

Allegations Against Trump

Trump has faced numerous allegations of sexual misconduct over the years. These include claims from the "Access Hollywood" tape, where he was heard boasting about inappropriate behaviour towards women. Despite these allegations, Trump's political career continued to flourish, culminating in his 2016 election victory.

Williams stated that after the incident at Trump Tower, Epstein expressed anger towards her. He allegedly berated her on the sidewalk, questioning why she allowed Trump to touch her. Williams described feeling humiliated and sickened by the experience.

Response to Allegations

Karoline Leavitt, a spokesperson for Trump, dismissed Williams's claims as "unequivocally false" and politically motivated. The Harris campaign did not comment on the allegations, and Williams's team confirmed no contact with them. The video call was organised independently of the Harris campaign.

In a CNN interview following the video call, Williams described the encounter with Trump as one of the strangest moments of her life. She recalled trying to maintain composure but experiencing an out-of-body sensation during the incident.

Epstein's Connection

Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges. Despite distancing himself from Epstein in recent years, Trump once praised him in a 2002 New York Magazine interview. He described Epstein as a "terrific guy" who enjoyed socialising with young women.

Williams revealed that shortly after their meeting at Trump Tower, she received a postcard from Trump via courier. The postcard featured an image of Palm Beach and Mar-a-Lago with a message reading: "Stacey, your home away from home. Love, Donald."

Williams's Decision to Speak Out

Williams explained that she delayed coming forward due to family considerations. She told CNN that confronting such incidents takes time and readiness. "You want to be really, really ready, and I wasn't," she said.

The allegations against Trump span decades and have not hindered his political ascent despite their serious nature. Williams's recent claims add another layer to the ongoing discourse surrounding Trump's past behaviour.
