A joyful wedding celebration turned into a heartbreaking tragedy in the United States when an Indian-origin pilot lost his life in a helicopter crash just hours after getting married.

Twenty-six-year-old Dave Fiji, a pilot with Delta Air Lines whose family has roots in Kerala, was travelling with his new wife to begin their honeymoon when the helicopter carrying them crashed in Georgia. According to George Fiji, his son had concerns about the weather conditions before the helicopter took off.
