The world rests because of US troops: Barack Obama

Washington, Dec 26: Showing a ray of hope, US President Barack Obama said that Afghanistan stands a chance to rebuild with the help of the US troops.

Barack Obama, the US President, is honoring the US troops in Marine Corps Base in Hawaii on Christmas. It's is a ritual for Obama every year on a family vacation to the island.

He further added that the world is more prosperous and the American Homeland is protected because of the sacrifices of the US troops and their families.

Obama also pointed out that after the long-lasting war of 13 years, the US combat mission will end next week. He claimed that the US is much safer and that it would never be a source of terrorism anymore.
