Thailand: Depressed woman commits suicide; jumps in crocodile pond

Bangkok, Sept 16:A 65-year old woman from

by leaping into a pond of crocodiles at a farm popular with terrorists. The place is situated on the outskirts of Bangkok.

The incident occurred during the opening hours of the farm, which also functions as a zoo where visitors can feed the reptiles from a walkway.

According to the police, the woman jumped from a walkway in the middle of the pond with hundreds of adult crocodiles.

Police further informed that the victim was suffering from stress and depression. This incident points at the often lax at Thai tourist destinations that include Crocodile and Tiger farms.
