Teen Actress Mamie Laverock Falls Five Stories From Balcony, On Life Support

19 year old actress Mamie Laverock recently suffered great injuries after falling five stories from the balcony of a hospital in Vancouver, Canada. The incident occurred on 26 May, as stated by the GoFundMe page for the young actress.

This life threatening event comes almost immediately after Laverock was suffering from a medical emergency. Her mother, Nicole Compton, travelled to Winnipeg to help the actress on 11 May with the emergency and save her life. At the time, she was showing signs of recovery and improvement.

A later update on the GoFundMe page gave some devastating news. It stated, "We are deeply saddened to report that on May 26th, Mamie, who has been in intensive treatment for the past two weeks, was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories. She sustained life threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support."

No other reports of how this incident took place or whether it occurred due to negligence or malice.

The donation goal of the GoFundMe page reached $26,902 Canadian dollars at the time of writing this, which is more than their original goal of $25,000 Canadian dollars. Still, it's not guaranteed whether the old goal will help with the expenses born out of the surgeries and life support from the latest incident.

Mamie Laverock briefly acted on the show 'When The Heart Calls'. The channel where the show aired, Hallmark, posted on their social media their sympathies towards the actress and her family.

Before this, Laverock had made appearances on shows like 'This Means War', 'The Hollow Child', 'A Series Of Unfortunate Events', and 'Psych'.
