Taylor Swift Contributes USD 5 Million to Hurricane Relief Through Feeding America
Taylor Swift has contributed USD 5 million to Feeding America to aid relief efforts following Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The nonprofit shared the news of her donation with a "Thank You" graphic resembling a friendship bracelet, a popular item among Swift's fans at her concerts.

Feeding America's CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, expressed gratitude for Swift's donation. "This contribution will help communities rebuild and recover, providing essential food, clean water, and supplies to people affected by these devastating storms," she stated. "Together, we can make a real impact in supporting families as they navigate the challenges ahead."
Support from Celebrities
Swift's friends, actors Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, also donated USD 1 million to Feeding America for hurricane relief. Babineaux-Fontenot acknowledged their "longtime support of Feeding America in times of crisis," which has been crucial in providing basic needs during past natural disasters.
Swift's history of philanthropy includes donations after natural disasters and tragic events. She supported Tennessee after a tornado in 2020 and contributed following a shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl victory parade in February 2024.
Philanthropic Efforts During Eras Tour
During her record-breaking Eras Tour, Swift quietly supported food banks by donating the equivalent of hundreds of thousands of meals to various cities where she performed. This philanthropic gesture became a notable aspect of her tour.
Hurricane Milton recently hit Florida as a Category 3 storm, adding to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. The region continues to struggle with the aftermath of these powerful storms.
The organisation urged fans and supporters to "join Taylor" in contributing to relief efforts. Swift's consistent support for nonprofits highlights her commitment to helping communities in need during challenging times.
