Suspect arrested for Pakistani journalist's murder
Islamabad, Sep 11: A suspect in the murder of a senior Pakistani journalist has been arrested in Karachi, sources told Geo News on Friday.
According to the sources, law enforcers have completed their initial investigation into the murder and arrested the suspect, who is currently being interrogated.
Aftab Alam, a senior journalist who was earlier working with Geo news, was shot dead on Wednesday by unidentified gunmen outside his house in Karachi.
Investigators so far have not been able to make any progress in the investigation of the terrorist attack on a Geo News van in which senior satellite engineer Arshad Ali Jafri was killed.
