Afghanistan: 5 killed, 40 injured in Helmand suicide bombing
It may be recalled that at least 35 people were killed and more than 40 wounded after a suicide car bomb targeted a bus carrying ministry staff in Kabul.
At least five people were killed and around 40 other injured on Wednesday in suicide bombing in Lashkargah city in Helmand, southern Afghanistan.
Two soldiers and three civilians were killed in the attack, the provincial governor's spokesman, Omar Zwak, told Afghan media.
Also, three military Humvees were badly damaged in the attack targeting the Afghan military convoy.
The incident happened close to the police headquarters.
