Submarine Used To View Titanic Wreckage Goes Missing in Atlantic Ocean
A distressing incident has unfolded in the Atlantic Ocean, as a submersible commonly used for taking tourists to witness the Titanic wreck has gone missing.
According to BBC, the Boston Coastguard has reported the disappearance of the submersible, prompting a search and rescue operation off the coast of Newfoundland. The exact number of individuals aboard the submersible at the time of its disappearance remains unknown.

The Titanic wreck, resting approximately 3,800 meters below the ocean surface, has been a popular destination for tourists who venture on small submersibles. The deep-sea wreckage was initially discovered in 1985 and has since been extensively explored by experts.
Earlier this year, in February, a remarkable video showcasing uncut footage of a previous visit to the Titanic wreck was released, providing 80 minutes of captivating imagery of the ship's remains.
In May, a groundbreaking achievement occurred when the first full-sized 3D scan of the shipwreck was unveiled. This comprehensive reconstruction, incorporating high-resolution images of remarkable detail, was meticulously crafted through deep-sea mapping techniques conducted by Magellan Ltd and Atlantic Productions in 2022.
Meanwhile, efforts are underway to locate the vessel and ensure the safety of those on board.
