Mogadishu, Feb 27: At least nine people were killed after militants stormed a hotel in Somalia's capital Mogadishu.
The al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack carried at Somali Youth League hotel on Friday, reported the BBC.

Militants also carried an explosion at a popular park known as the Peace Garden.
Al-Shabaab, an al-Qaeda affiliate, has been waging war an armed insurgency in Somalia.
Al-Shabaab controlled much of Mogadishu during the years 2007 to 2011, but was pushed out of Somalia's capital and other major cities by the AU forces.
The group caused outrage in April last year by carrying out an attack on Garrisa University College in Garrisa town of Kenyan. At least 147 people died when gunmen stormed the university at dawn and targeted Christian students.
