Donald Trump 'Regrets' Leaving White House After 2020 Election Defeat

The United States is gearing up for a closely contested presidential election on Tuesday. Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris are making final efforts to win over undecided voters in key states.

As the election day nears, Trump has stirred memories of the 2020 election, suggesting he might not accept the November 5 results if he loses to Harris.

Trump Questions Leaving White House During Election

More than 75 million Americans have already voted, according to the University of Florida's Election Lab, which tracks early and mail-in voting. Harris has focused her campaign on protecting freedoms, constitutional values, and women's rights.

Meanwhile, Trump has promised economic recovery and stricter immigration policies.

Focus on Battleground States

Both candidates are actively campaigning in crucial battleground states. Polls indicate a tight race between them. A recent Iowa poll shows Harris leading with 47% compared to Trump's 44%, though Trump has dismissed these findings. Analysts suggest that winning at least four of the seven key states could secure victory for either candidate.

Pennsylvania is seen as the most critical battleground with 19 electoral votes, followed by North Carolina and Georgia with 16 each. Michigan holds 15 votes, Arizona 11, Wisconsin 10, and Nevada six. Trump's rallies in Pennsylvania have focused on his claims of a secure border during his presidency and criticism of Biden's immigration policies.

Trump's Campaign Rhetoric

At a rally in Pennsylvania, Trump reiterated his belief that he should not have left the White House after the 2020 election. He has consistently questioned the election process and accused the Democratic Party of corruption. "It's all corrupt. She is corrupt," Trump said about Harris, adding that he is running against a "corrupt machine called the Democrat Party."

Trump also promised a new golden age for America if elected again, pledging to correct what he sees as the Biden-Harris administration's failures. He continues to hold rallies in North Carolina and Georgia to bolster support.

Harris's Vision for America

In contrast, Harris has been addressing voters in Michigan, urging them to decide America's future direction. She argues that Trump's leadership would harm the country and encourages voters to reject chaos and division. "In two days, we have the power to decide the fate of our nation for generations to come," she stated.

Harris envisions a nation moving away from hate and division towards justice. She believes Americans from both red and blue states are ready for change. She also invoked divine guidance, saying it is God's plan to unite the nation but emphasised that action is needed to achieve this vision.

The upcoming election presents a pivotal moment for American voters to shape their country's future amidst contrasting visions from both candidates. The outcome will determine who leads the nation starting January next year.
