Shocking: Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen reveals he is HIV positive!

New York, Nov 18: In a shocking revelation, Hollywood actor, who starred in a famous TV series "Two and a half man" on Tuesday, Nov 17 revealed that he has been suffering from HIV AIDS from last four years.

50-year-old Sheen made public the bitter truth of his life during an interview at NBC's 'Today' show. Rumuor mills were abuzz in Hollywood since Nov 2 this year, that an actor is infected with HIV and the mystery was put to rest yesterday, leaving everyone baffled.

"I am here to admit I am HIV positive. It's a hard three letters to absorb", he said.

"Roughly four years ago. It started with a series of headaches, insane migraines and sweating the bed completely. I thought I had a brain tumor. It's a turning point in one's life", he was quoted as saying.

Carlos Irwin Estévez, best known by his stage name--Charlie Sheen, admitted that he had been in numerous relationships with many women from within the industry and outside.

Blackmailing led Sheen to reveal he is HIV infected

Sheen also said that a prostitute blackmailed him over his illness, even though he paid $10 million to her.

Radar Online', an online gossip magazine, had first reported the news on Nov 2, in an article, without naming the actor and soon it spread like a fire.

Sheen's personal life became public in March 2011, when he was fired from 'Two And A Half Men', after acting for 8 years in the show, for bad behaviour. He was paid $1.25 Million per episode of the show.

The 'Wolf Of Wallstreet' actor, Sheen has a history of drug abuse, alcohol, marital problems including domestic violence linkup with prostitutes. He is a three-time divorcee and has boasted of sleeping with more than 5,000 women!

His third marriage was with Brooke Mueller, 12 years his junior, in 2008, with whom he has twin sons. He has a daughter, Cassandra, from a previous relationship with Paula Profit, and has two more daughters-- Sam, 11 and Lola, 10 with second ex-wife Denise Richards, with whom he was married for four years and got separated in 2006. In all, he has five children and a grand-daughter.
