She abused the 12-year old, got pregnant and arrested

Melbourne, July 27: An Australian woman was arrested for sexually abusing a 12-year old boy regularly and getting pregnant from that. She was arrested on Monday and jailed for six years as the judge accused her of taking away his childhood. The boy was the friend of the woman's daughter.

A mother of three, the 36-year old woman began driving her daughter and the friend to school in 2011. She admits having developed feelings for the boy and encouraging him to have unprotective physical relationship with her. A local newspaper said that the abuse went on for 2 years and the woman delivered a baby girl in May. DNA tests proved that the boy was the father, when he was just 14 years old.

Pronouncing the judgment, the judge said,"You failed to recognise that your feelings for the boy were completely inappropriate. You commenced and continued an abusive sexual relationship."Meanwhile, the boy's mother described how the incident has changed the boy's life and that of his family. How he is not being able to cope up with fatherhood. And how the woman breached his trust when she was supposed to take care of him.

The woman was sentenced to a maximum of six years of imprisonment, wherein she will have to serve three years and six months.
