French school shooting: 17-year old student arrested, 1 suspect on the run
The incident comes in the wake of the French government issuing a high alert about a terrorist strike.
A 17-year-old student was arrested and another is on the run after the shooting incident at Tocqueville High School in the southern town of Grasse in the French Rivera on Thursday, said reports.
The incedent has left two people injured. The incident is not a terror attack, as speculated earlier.
The French media earlier reported that an intruder entered into the Tocqueville High School and opened fire.
The incident comes in the wake of the French government issuing a high alert about a terrorist strike.
