Saudi Arabia brothers: One died fighting terrorism, another died killing heroes
Riyadh, Aug 31: What emerged as tragedy for a family in Saudi Arabia when two men from the family died on the same day, one died fighting terrorism while another died killing heroes.
Pilot Nasser al-Harthi died when his Apache helicopter crashed while conducting air strikes for the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen this month while his brother Zaher blew himself in a suicide car bombing in Iraq, The Daily Mail reported.
Zaher,an Islamic State (ISIS) fighter died while targeting Iraqi troops in Samarra.
Before joining the group two years ago, Zaher was associated with Tabuk General Hospital as nurse, said his another brother.
According to media reports, initially he was working at a hospital in the ISIS's stronghold of Mosul who later became a suicide bomber.
A coalition of Arab states has been carrying out air strikes against Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen since March, but has so far not intervened against Al Qaeda.
