Satellite Images Reveal Major Damage At Iran’s Konarak Naval And Air Bases After US-Israel Strikes

New commercial satellite images show major destruction at several Iranian military facilities following recent strikes linked to the growing conflict involving the United States and Israel. The pictures, released by private satellite company Vantor, suggest that key naval, air and drone bases in southern Iran were targeted with precision.

The attacks are part of the wider escalation that began after US and Israeli forces carried out strikes on Iranian targets on February 28. Iranian authorities later responded with missile and drone attacks on Israel and US bases in the Gulf region.

Strategic Konarak Region Hit

The satellite images focus on military sites near Konarak, a strategic port area along the Gulf of Oman. This region is important because it connects Iran to key international shipping routes and serves as a base for naval operations.

According to the imagery, the Konarak Naval Base appears to have suffered serious damage. At least three naval vessels can be seen either sunk or partially underwater.

Several buildings near the waterfront show signs of destruction, including collapsed roofs and heavy structural damage.

Burn marks, scattered debris and damaged docking areas suggest that the strikes hit close to harbour facilities. Smoke rising from parts of the base indicates that fires were still burning or had recently been put out at the time the images were taken.

Airbase and Aircraft Shelters Damaged

The satellite photographs also show destruction at the nearby Konarak Airbase. Multiple hardened aircraft shelters - structures built to protect military aircraft - appear to have been struck.

Dark scorch marks are visible on rooftops and surrounding areas. Although the main runway appears mostly intact, operational zones next to it show signs of impact. Experts note that hardened shelters are designed to withstand attacks, but the visible damage suggests the strikes were accurate and powerful.

Iranian authorities have not released an official statement detailing aircraft losses or the operational impact of the strikes.

Drone Facilities Also Affected

Additional images show damage at what appears to be a drone-related installation near an airstrip. Several buildings inside the compound appear collapsed, with debris spread across the site.

Other pictures suggest damage to reinforced storage areas or bunker-like structures. Impact points and disturbed ground patterns can be seen inside protected enclosures, indicating direct hits. However, the exact role of these facilities has not been independently confirmed.

No Official Damage Assessment Yet

So far, Iranian officials have not provided a detailed report on the extent of damage or possible casualties at the affected sites. The satellite imagery offers one of the clearest views yet of the impact of the strikes on Iran's military infrastructure.

The release of these images comes as tensions across the Middle East continue to rise. With missile exchanges, airstrikes and naval threats increasing, concerns are growing about further escalation.

The visible destruction at naval, air and drone facilities highlights the scale of the confrontation. As both sides continue military operations, the region remains in a highly unstable and uncertain phase.
