Russian President Vladimir Putin Calls PM Modi To Condemn Pahalgam Terror Attack
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday and vehemently denounced the recent terrorist assault in Pahalgam.
President Putin stated that Russia fully supports India in its fight against terrorism, according to the official Indian readout. He emphasised the need to hold those accountable for the horrific act and their backers accountable.

Putin joins a growing number of international leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and U.S. President Donald Trump, who have spoken with Prime Minister Modi in the wake of the incident.
Both leaders reaffirmed their dedication to strengthening the India-Russia Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership, the MEA added. In addition to wishing President Putin a happy 80th celebration of Victory Day, Prime Minister Modi invited him to India later this year for the Annual Summit.
