Resolution filed in Pakistan's Punjab assembly against Sena extremism
Islamabad, Oct 19: A resolution was submitted on Monday in Pakistan's Punjab Assembly condemning the agitation by hardline Hindu activists against Pakistani and Indian cricket officials in Mumbai, media reported.
The resolution was filed in the Punjab Assembly secretariat by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) member Faiza Malik.

Besides condemning the protest by Shiv Sena activists in the office of the Indian cricket board, the resolution demanded that the Pakistan federal government take notice of the prevailing situation.
The resolution urged the government to approach the United Nations to get the hardline Hindu nationalist party declared a terrorist outfit.
Earlier on Monday, dozens of supporters of the Shiv Sena barged into the Mumbai-based headquarters of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and shouted anti-Pakistan slogans at its president, Shashank Manohar.
The attack disrupted planned talks between the BCCI and Pakistan Cricket Board on resuming a cricket series between the two neighbours.
The Shiv Sena activists threatened that they would not allow a Pakistan-India cricket series for which BCCI has signed an agreement with PCB.
