According to reports late on Tuesday night, Steven Sotloff, who was captured by the ISIS militants, has allegedly been beheaded. The militant group posted a video of the beheading on the internet.
As soon as the news broke, social networking site Twitter was flooded with condolence messages to Sotloff's family.

Earlier the same group had beheaded another US journalist, James Foley and had posted the beheading video on YouTube.
