Reports: Michael Schumacher showing signs of progress

), April 14: Formula One racer Michael Schumacher, who has been in a medically induced coma, is showing 'small signs of progress' reports said.

Schumacher's manager said that there are short moments of consciousness and that he is showing small sings of progress. "There are moments when he is awake and moments when he is conscious," Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm told German broadcaster ARD.

Schumacher was badly injured in a ski accident on December 29, 2013.

Support poured in for Schumacher and his family as fans worldwide prayed for his speedy recovery.

Schumacher was induced in a coma after his vitals signs began to deteriorate. His family had said that the drugs used to keep him asleep were gradually being reduced to bring him back.
