Relatives of MH370 victims symapthise with kin of MH17 victims

Beijing, July 18: The families of those who went missing with the MH370, the Malaysian Airlines (MAS) which vanished soon after taking off from Kuala Lumpur on March 8 this year and was never found again, reacted to the MH17 tragedy emotionally.

Sympathising with the victims of those killed in the MH17 mishap, the families of the missing passengers of MH17 questioned the state of aviation safety. "Could it be that taking a flight now is like being on a rollercoaster ride and one must have one's heart in one's mouth", they asked, according to the Strait Times article.

They also said that all nations should work together and not against one another in providing consistent information of the information. Contradictory information had caused much confusion after the MH17 mishap.

One-hundred and fifty-three Chinese nationals were on board of the ill-fated MH370, which was carrying 239 passengers. No trace of the plane has been found till today despite a massive search operation launched by several countries. Many in China were equally worried over the latest tragedy as contradictory information kept them on their toes.

The Chinese embassy in Malaysia confirmed that no Chinese nationals were on board the MH17.
