Racist Taunts To Nuke Jokes On India: Why Is British YouTuber Miles Routledge Facing Backlash?
British YouTuber Miles Routledge is under fire for making racist remarks about India and wrongly accusing an anonymous user of being Indian.
Routledge, who gained fame as a British student stranded in Afghanistan during the Taliban's takeover in 2021, recently shared a screenshot on X (formerly Twitter) of a message from an anonymous user.

British YouTuber Miles Routledge: Controversy And The Backlash
In a controversial post, Routledge claimed the user was Indian without any evidence and captioned it, "Indian threatens to find me, it backfires lmao." He mocked the user's supposed nationality, further inflaming the situation.
The anonymous message read, "I will find you, I promise, your apology video will be sweet." In response, Routledge publicly shared his address and added a sarcastic comment: "Saar okay lord saar good luck saar haha saar," which imitated a stereotypical Indian accent.
The incident has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with users condemning Routledge for his offensive behavior and baseless accusations.
The inflammatory comments did not end there; jokes about launching nuclear weapons at India were also made by Routledge. It was stated by him, "When I become Prime Minister of England, the nuclear silos will be opened as an explicit warning to any foreign power that interferes with British interests and affairs. Huge incidents are not what is being referred to; there is an eagerness to launch and atomize entire nations over the smallest infraction."
The situation escalated further when an accusation was made by an Indian user, alleging that Routledge was inciting rage for attention. A dismissive response was given by the YouTuber, stating, "Believe it or not, India is simply disliked by me. Additionally, an Indian can be sensed by me. If an online man suddenly talks about ducking your mother in the first response, he is Indian. Many such cases," was claimed by Routledge.
