Putin's 'Can't Forgive Betrayal' Video Resurfaces Amid Wagner Chief Death Rumours

Russia on Thursday officially confirmed that Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of Wagner Group, was among the passengers on the ill-fated jet that tragically crashed with no survivors.

This incident has only fueled suspicions that had already been circulating, particularly concerning Prigozhin's fate following his company's involvement in a mutiny. During that time, President Vladimir Putin vehemently condemned the mutiny, labeling it as an act of "treason" and a "betrayal," vowing to take retaliatory action.

While a compromise was eventually reached after the mutiny, with the charges against Prigozhin being dropped, this situation seemed to undermine Putin's authority and portrayed him in a weaker light.

A Russian newspaper commented on the compromise, where the mutiny ended in exchange for immunity from prosecution, stating, "This kind of compromise is normally made with political opponents. Never with criminals and terrorists. Does that mean we should view Mr Prigozhin now as a political figure?"

Adding to the intrigue, an old video of Putin resurfaced, where he openly declared that betrayal was something he could never forgive.

Following the release of this report, immediate questions arose about the circumstances of the accident. The evidence against Putin seemed to gain weight when flight tracking data revealed that the executive jet exhibited no signs of trouble until it suddenly plummeted in its final 30 seconds of recorded altitude.

According to Ian Petchenik from flightracker Flightradar24, the Embraer Legacy 600 jet experienced an abrupt and vertical descent at 15:19 GMT. Within approximately half a minute, the aircraft dropped more than 8,000 feet from its cruising altitude of 28,000 feet.

Petchenik commented, "Whatever occurred, happened rapidly." He added that prior to the descent, there was no indication of any issues with the aircraft.

If it were to be proven that the destruction of the plane carrying Yevgeny Prigozhin was an intentional and calculated act of vengeance orchestrated by the Kremlin, this event could potentially become a defining chapter in Russian history, representing the epitome of a "special military operation."
