Protest march against US drones staged in Islamabad

The lawmakers led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's chief minister marched towards the parliament house and staged a sit in to record their protest. They raised slogans against the US attacks while demanding immediate halt to CIA-controlled drone campaign.
The ruling coalition in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which serves as the main supply route for NATO forces in neighbouring Afghanistan, has been protesting against U.S. attacks in the region for over two weeks.
Imran Khan criticised Nawaz Sharif for his dual policy
During Thursday's protest, cricketer-turned- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said the whole nation was united against the drone strikes in Pakistan. He criticised the Nawaz Sharif-led government for adopting dual policy on the issue of missile strikes.
"Our rulers say one thing to US ambassador and completely the opposite thing with the nation," he said, stressing over the government to speak truth with the masses.
Stating that his party was the only party which was doing what it promised to the nation, the former cricketer urged the parliamentarians to speak truth with the people of Pakistan.
He reiterated that the KPK government woul not allow NATO supply through the province, come what may.
