President Murmu Presents RuPay Card to Prime Minister Jugnauth
As a special gesture, President Murmu presented a RuPay card, recently launched in Mauritius, to Prime Minister Jugnauth. This symbolizes the growing economic ties between the two nations.
President Murmu Meets Mauritian President Prithvirajsing Roopun
Prior to her meeting with Prime Minister Jugnauth, President Murmu met with her Mauritian counterpart, President Prithvirajsing Roopun. They held comprehensive discussions on advancing the long-standing and multifaceted bilateral ties between India and Mauritius. President Murmu also presented a RuPay card to President Roopun.
President Murmu's Arrival in Mauritius
President Murmu received a warm welcome upon her arrival in Mauritius. Prime Minister Jugnauth accorded her full state honors at the airport, reflecting the exceptionally close ties between India and Mauritius.
President Murmu to Participate in National Day Celebrations
President Murmu will be the chief guest at Mauritius' National Day celebrations on Tuesday. A contingent of the Indian Navy, along with two ships, INS Tir and CGS Sarathi, will participate in the event.
President Murmu to Inaugurate India-Assisted Projects
During her visit, President Murmu and Prime Minister Jugnauth will jointly inaugurate 14 India-assisted projects. These projects showcase the growing expanse and multi-faceted nature of New Delhi's vibrant development partnership with Mauritius.
Exchange of Bilateral Agreements
President Murmu will witness the exchange of important bilateral agreements aimed at strengthening institutional collaboration and capacity-building cooperation between India and Mauritius.
