Police confirm shooting at New York hospital

New York, Aug 8: Authorities confirmed a shooting at a New York hospital, say it was confined to a single room and no ongoing threat, reports The Associated Press. There was no immediate word on any injuries.

Westchester County Police told WCBS Radio that there had been an "active shooter situation" Wednesday but it is now under control.
