As part of his two-nation tour, Modi is scheduled to spend approximately seven hours in Kyiv. He will embark on a 10-hour train journey to the Ukrainian capital this evening, as reported by Hindustan Times.
In his media statement, Modi highlighted the deep concern surrounding the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, underscoring that the loss of innocent lives poses a significant humanitarian challenge. He reiterated India's stance on the importance of dialogue and diplomacy for achieving peace and stability.
Modi's visit to Poland marks the first by an Indian Prime Minister in nearly 50 years. Celebrating the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations, Modi and Tusk have agreed to transform their bilateral relationship into a strategic partnership, addressing global challenges through mutual cooperation, as per media reports.
