PM Modi Engages with US Vice President J.D. Vance and Family at AI Action Summit in Paris
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently met with US Vice President J D Vance, his wife Usha, and their two sons during the AI Action Summit in Paris. Modi shared photos of the meeting on social media, showing him with the Vance family, including their sons Ewan and Vivek. "Had a wonderful meeting with US VP J.D. Vance and his family. We had a great conversation on various subjects. Delighted to join them in celebrating the joyous birthday of their son, Vivek!" Modi posted.

Earlier, a video released by PMO India showed Modi engaging in bilateral discussions with Vance while Usha observed. This meeting occurred shortly after Vance's speech at the summit, where he praised Modi's positive outlook on AI as co-chair of the event alongside France. "I appreciate PM Modi’s point. AI will facilitate and make people more productive. It is not going to replace human beings, it will never replace human beings," Vance stated.
Meetings with Global Leaders
In addition to his meeting with Vance, Modi also held discussions with Estonian President Alar Karis at the summit. "Had a very productive meeting with the President of Estonia, Mr Alar Karis on the sidelines of the AI Action Summit in Paris. India’s ties with Estonia are growing remarkably over the years. We discussed ways to boost ties in areas like trade, technology, culture and more," Modi shared online, accompanied by images of their conversation.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) highlighted that Modi invited Estonia's government and businesses to explore opportunities within India's growth story and benefit from initiatives like Digital India. This invitation aims to strengthen bilateral relations further.
